The Yada Dash Road Cam HD made a good first impression in our dash cam reviews. It takes nice daytime 1080/30fps video, operates in continuous, looped, or incident-sensing mode, and has intuitive controls that make it easy to use. It has a G-sensor that detects a jolt and automatically starts saving the clip, and its wide-angle lens covers the whole road view. However, the $100 Yada is representative of the lower end of the market; it lacks GPS, has only a 90-degree field of view, and its night video is poor.
The YADA 4K RoadCam Pro is a must-have for daily commuters and rideshare operators. The 4K UHD resolution delivers stunningly clear video, while compatibility with the YADA app allows you to share your journey and view footage from your vehicle's dashboard. Wide dynamic range captures virtually any lighting for sharp results day or night. And the built-in Wi-Fi lets you connect to the camera wirelessly to view live footage and download files.
