The Do Not Disturb mode on Android smartphones silences calls, text notifications, and ringtones to help you focus or get a good night’s rest. However, if you have an alarm set to go off at a certain time, will the alarm still work when the phone is in silent mode?
The answer is yes, your alarm will still work when your Samsung phone is in Do Not Disturb mode. In fact, Samsung allows you to customize the DND mode so that your alarms will ring while it’s enabled. You can do this by enabling the ’Exceptions’ feature within the DND mode settings.
You can find the Do Not Disturb mode settings on your device by navigating to Settings > Sound & Vibration > Do Not Disturb. From there, you can enable the ’Exceptions’ feature to allow your alarms to ring while the DND mode is active. You can also schedule when the DND mode will be enabled or disable it using a scheduled time.
You can find the Do Not Disturb icon on your Galaxy phone in Quick Settings. Swipe down from the top of your screen to open the notification panel and tap the icon. From there, you can edit the Quick Settings to move it to a more accessible location on your device. You can also access the Do Not Disturb settings from the main Settings app. To turn the mode on or off, simply tap the icon.
