What is Anynet+ Device?

What is anynet+ device?

Anynet+ (also known as HDMI Consumer Electronics Control or HDMI-CEC) lets you use your TV remote to control external devices connected via HDMI, such as a soundbar or Blu-ray player. Up to 12 compatible devices can be controlled. Devices that support Anynet+ will display an "Anynet+" logo on the packaging and the TV's remote control will show an "HDMI-CEC" icon when Anynet+ is active.

To turn on Anynet+, select the Settings menu and then choose External Device Manager from the middle list of options. Please note that Anynet+ can only be used to control external devices that are either in standby mode or turned on and only when the TV is in the same room as the device. Up to 12 compliant external devices can be controlled but only one home theatre system can be controlled.
