Toshiba’s toshiba satellite c55 c5268 review is an affordable notebook with a solid quad-core Intel Pentium N3700 CPU and standard 8 GB of RAM. The notebook uses a 15.6-inch TruBrite HD display with a native resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and integrated Intel HD Graphics 4400. It supports HD 720p content without upscaling and is also capable of outputting to an external screen via HDMI.
The laptop has an attractive finish with a hairline pattern and is available in matt black and matt white. The keyboard is also pleasantly designed with frameless tiles. It is also comfortable to use, with soft keys and generous space between the individual keys.
Unfortunately, the quality of the laptop's speakers is far from satisfactory. Bass is hard to hear and even in the lower ranges, instruments are difficult to discern. It's not really surprising, because competing laptops from the same price class are much more impressive in this regard.
The toshiba satellite c55 s5120 laptop has a standard 500 GB hard drive. It is not expandable but should provide plenty of storage space for everyday tasks and multimedia applications. It is not suitable for playing modern games, though.
The notebook comes with a quick start guide and the compulsory power supply. In addition, Toshiba installs a Recovery Center and a trial version of McAfee Internet Security Suite. The software package also includes a media player and several small tools from Toshiba.
