Razer Mamba Tournament Edition Review

Razer isn’t the kind of company to mess around with a winning design, so the Mamba Tournament Edition is basically just an updated version of the original. Powered by the world's most precise 16,000 DPI 5G sensor and a comfortable ergonomic right-handed design with improved textured side grips, this wired gaming mouse is an absolute powerhouse.

The Mamba’s biggest enhancement is a wealth of Chroma capable LED strips that can be configured to your liking through Razer Synapse 3. While the majority of mice only provide one or four customizable spots, this mouse has 16 total strips that cover all sides of the body and even include the scroll wheel and rear logo.

This is a wired mouse, so it plugs into your computer via a seven foot long braided cable. It has a somewhat coarse texture that doesn’t pick up greasy fingerprints as easily as some soft-touch mice and should be durable enough to withstand plenty of abuse.

The Mamba Tournament Edition is a right-handed mouse designed to fit comfortably in claw and palm grips. It’s been through plenty of testing sessions to ensure it can accommodate most digits and is comfortable to hold with both hands. It’s a good size for most gamers, not too big and not too small. The hump fills the hand nicely and the textured side grips add a little extra support to prevent pinky drag. The buttons are all large and easy to press.
