Morrowind Overhaul For Windows 10

Despite its age, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind is still one of the finest roleplaying experiences out there. But the years haven't been kind to the game, with its aging engine leaving it looking a bit worse for wear. Luckily, enterprising fans have come to the rescue with a whole heap of mods that aim to drag Morrowind into the 21st century.

If you're a returning player, or simply want to bring some of the best of what modern gaming has to offer to the old school, here are the five must-have mods for a better-looking Morrowind:

UI Overhaul for Morrowind

The aging UI in Morrowind is notoriously confusing and this addon aims to make it easier on the eyes. It replaces the original UI with a more intuitive layout that closely resembles the UI in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Seven Graces Shrines Enhanced

This lovely little mod upgrades the textures of all the shrines that you visit during the Seven Graces Pilgrimage in Morrowind. This small tweak makes the whole experience much more visually appealing, and a nice change from the vanilla game.

Visual Upgrades for Morrowind

A massive unofficial patch that improves the graphics in Morrowind, laying the groundwork for future improvements to be made by other developers. It introduces new texture renaming to allow for higher resolutions, as well as a number of other visual enhancements like greater world distance rendering, beautiful sunsets and more fine-grained shaders.
