Microsoft will release six bulletins next week including a critical hole in its kernel mode drivers for Windows and Office that someone publicly released proof-of-concept code for, which could be used to take control of systems. The other two critical bulletins fix holes in Web Services on Devices API and License Logging Server.
The results suggest that mechanisms affecting mutation probabilities, such as holes, skew the effects of natural selection and shape evolution. They also highlight the need to monitor the impact of holes on genome stability and on medically significant traits such as blood pressure.
