Empathy

Empathy also leads to compassion which motivates us to take actions to aid those less fortunate than ourselves. Empathy can be expressed through gestures, words or even body language - though beware any attempts at display condescending behaviors or words which demean short people.

To show kindness to short people, be nonjudgmental and allow them to freely discuss their emotions. When your friend expresses excitement over something, share in her excitement by joining in your joy. However, do not squat or bend when conversing with short people as this may make them feel disrespected; rather stand upright while speaking at eye level as this will help make them feel equal and valued; doing this is an effective way of building trust and strong bonds between you.

Body language
