Based on a popular light novel series, the first season of How A Realist Hero Rebuilt The Kingdom premiered in 2021 and was a hit among anime fans. The show received good reviews from the critics as well and even gave a boost to the sales of the original light novels. The success of the show led to the announcement of a second season, which was aired in January, 2022.
The second season was also a big hit among the audience. However, there is still no news on a third season of the anime. As the studio that animated the show is already working on several projects for the Summer anime season, it is unlikely that they will give up their work to start this one anytime soon.
The first season of How A Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom adapted four volumes of the original light novel. The second season adapted an additional three volumes. The story has more than enough material to run for a few seasons. The only problem is that the author of the series, Dojyomaru, hasn’t finished writing it yet.
If the creators of the anime decide to produce a third season, it is likely that they will announce it at the end of the current series or on their official website. The anime was a success, and it would be great to see more of the world of Kazuya Souma.
