NASCAR driver Chase Elliott wants to change that, however. Last year he joined forces with one of his sponsors to open his virtual restaurant known as Chase Elliott's Chicken Tenders which can be found on delivery apps such as DoorDash and Grubhub.
The new virtual restaurant boasts an impressive menu of 14 tantalizing sauces and beloved sides like waffle fries or tots, along with chicken tenders, boneless wings, chicken sandwiches, buffalo chicken salads, beverages, fan-favorite starters like fried pickles and mozzarella cheese sticks, as well as beverages.
Hooters restaurants across the U.S. are currently participating in this launch of their virtual restaurant; over 200 locations nationwide will take part. Food will be delivered using DoorDash, Grubhub or Uber Eats as delivery partners.
NASCAR drivers have long been associated with endorsing various products, but Chase Elliott's Chicken Tenders virtual restaurant stands out as something special in that it actually exists as a physical location rather than simply being accessible online. Elliott doesn't find this idea odd at all and sees it as part of his marketing activities.
