Best Power Supply For 3090 Ti

The monstrous new Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 Ti is a serious power hog, and that means you’re going to need a beefy power supply. Nvidia recommends at least 850 watts, but you’ll want to aim for more than that to keep up with the graphics card’s ravenous energy demands.

Fortunately, there are lots of choices available. The best power supply for 3090 ti is the FSP Hydro Ti Pro 1000 W, which provides plenty of juice for the GPU and other components. It’s expensive, but it’s built to last and features high-end components like Japanese capacitors.

Another option is the Montech Titan Gold 1000 W, which is a strong ATX 3.0 and PCIe 5.0-compatible PSU. It’s not quite as powerful as the Silverstone DA1000R Gold we reviewed, but it has good load regulation and is much less expensive.

The EVGA SuperNOVA P2 750W is another solid choice for the RTX 3090 Ti. It’s fully modular to help reduce cable clutter, and it has an 80 Plus Platinum efficiency rating. It’s also backed by a 10-year warranty.

One thing to note about the EVGA SuperNOVA P2 is that it uses a 1x16-pin power connector. This is a larger version of the 12-pin connector that debuted with the Founders Edition of the RTX 3080 Ti. This may cause some issues with older cases, but it’s not a deal-breaker. The MasterWatt 750 is an affordable alternative to the EVGA SuperNOVA P2. It’s not as quiet as the Corsair RM850x, but it has a better build quality and comes with a 10-year warranty.
