AvaDirect Threadripper GeForce GTX Battlebox Ultimate

Step into the arena battle-ready with this finely tuned rig optimized for gaming. This rig delivers 1080p at 60 frames per second and lifelike gameplay with DirectX 12, next-gen GeForce GTX graphics cards and advanced gaming hardware.

Nvidia launched a program called the GeForce GTX Battlebox a few years back that allowed boutique PC system builders to brand systems with the Battlebox name as long as they adhered to certain minimum hardware specifications. Nvidia’s original spec required a GeForce-branded graphics card in 2 or 3-way SLI along with an Intel Core i5 or i7 CPU, a certain amount of RAM and a SSD.

Today, Nvidia has updated the base specs for its GTX Battlebox program to allow it to include rigs with AMD’s Ryzen processors too. The new UK base spec for the GeForce GTX Battlebox is the GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GPU and a Ryzen 5 or 7 CPU. This makes the Battlebox Ultimate now a good option for anyone wanting to enjoy VR or 4K gaming, while the lower spec rig is still a great option for getting 60fps at 1080p in the latest multiplayer games.

The AVADirect Threadripper GeForce GTX Battlebox Ultimate has a dual 1950X processor that can handle multi-threaded apps as well as gaming. It’s not quite as effective as an overclocked i7-7700K in gaming-only tests, but it performs very well when playing games that can use multiple cores, such as PUBG and Ashes of the Singularity.
